History

Ken Brown’s practice was formed in 1990 and was based initially in North London before moving to Buckinghamshire in 1995, all the time acquiring a diverse range of clients and projects.

Since its formation, the practice has undertaken nearly one hundred jobs, the majority of which have been constructed.

The key features of this small practice are a personal service and an attention to detail, bringing a depth of experience to the design and construction process.

Before establishing his own practice, Ken Brown worked in London as an architect at Greenberg and Hawkes, a design-led practice, in which the staff worked co-operatively at all levels, and at EPR a large, commercial practice working on major residential and office projects, as well as the alteration and restoration of listed buildings. Before entering the commercial world he spent his qualifying years working in the Architects Department of the London Borough of Barnet.
